What Really Went Down My Birthday Weekend

Amidst the madness that occurred on my birthday, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel which was my birthday weekend getaway with some of my blogging boos. Everyone asked me what I wanted to do for my weekend and all I wanted was to be surrounded by likeminded people and to be cute. Yes, I wanted to be extremely cute for my birthday. You tell me if I actually accomplished my goal in the comments.

So my girls Michelene and Bree flew in to Miami, while Shea and Ashley drove to our secluded villa in Doral, FL. Tucked away from all the hustle and bustle we had the opportunity to stay in a three bedroom villa at the highly recommended Provident Doral at The Blue, where we lived the life we dream of having for two days straight. Talk about being spoiled...

But, what really went down in a beautiful villa full of female content creators? I'll give you the deets...

On Friday we had girl talk, appetizers and cocktails at the 5300 Chophouse Lounge. I realized that I am SO over birthday dinners, so I thought why not have a happy hour at this beautiful establishment? With drinks that were half off right beside the beautiful pool, my birthday happy hour was the business. If you ever get a chance to go, I recommend the Churrasco Flatbread and the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries with Marshmallow sauce. It's. So. Good. Seriously.

We started our Saturday with early morning photo shoots by the pool. The best thing about being with fellow influencers is that THEY GET IT. Getting up early to capture that perfect lighting and helping each other take photos for our own platforms, because that's what women who support women really do. It genuinely felt so refreshing to be around a group of women who all want themselves and each other to succeed. So we helped each other get that lighting on fleek and snagged some cute photos that I'm sure you all will enjoy.

And of course, the highlight of the day was when Bree cheffed it up in the kitchen for our super cute brunch. Since our villa had a full kitchen, it was perfect to cook and then sit down to have some much needed girl talk. We had different flavored mimosas, like passion fruit and dragon fruit, in our champagne flutes made custom by Party with PartTay! In my opinion, each of us having our own personalized glasses definitely raised the cuteness factor up a few levels.

Don't think we only were cute during the day. At night we made cocktails together, visited Wynwood Art Walk for a bit, had some pretty amazing shots at the well-known SHOTS Miami and basically just had one hell of a good time. Because girls just wanna have fun, you know?

Oh, you thought I forgot to mention our cute matching robes? No, I saved the best for last. I am a firm believer that a girls' getaway weekend isn't complete without having matching clothing of some sort, and these robes were the perfect choice for ours! Brunching with the boos and twerking to Beyonce is so much more fun when you look good doing it. So you can get robes just like ours for only $12 on Amazon, (you know how much I love Amazon).

So thank you to my boos for spending my weekend with me. It was definitely one for the books.

Also a special thanks to Provident Doral for hosting us for the weekend and Party with ParTay for the champagne flutes. Although I received these products/services complimentary or for compensation, all opinion are my own.
