Miami Swim Week 2017

Miami's Swim Week is THE event for all things swimwear, and if you follow me on Instagram...you should know I love a good bikini. With that, it was a match made in heaven to be invited to several shows during Swim Week this year.

Now this was my first Swim Week EVER, and I was happy to get on the lists for shows from designers like Beach Bunny, ACACIA, Sports Illustrated, Roberto Cavalli, DSquared2 and a handful of others. Needless to say I was honored and excited to be able to get the full experience of Swim Week.

But alas, with the recent move I was only able to attend one day's worth of shows as the commute was over an hour drive for me (ouch). So the final Saturday of the series of events, I made it my mission to capture as much of the affairs as possible.

I first attended ACACIA's evening show on the rooftop of a parking garage that definitely set the standard. Rooftop vibes, beautiful pieces and complimentary cocktails set the mood for an evening of fun with the setting sun.

Afterwards, we took a quick trip back to the W Hotel to catch the last bit of the Sports Illustrated show. There was so much diversity in this show, from the different body shapes, skin tones and hair textures, this was a stage filled with beauty of all dimensions.

Although we missed the Luli Fama show, (super sad about this), we did get a chance to pop over to The Perfect V fashion show at the Nautilus Hotel. The goodies in the gift bag at this show were super cute, providing serum, cream and luminizer to get "the perfect V".

Overall, I missed SO MUCH of Swim Week, but made the best of the time I was able to attend. If you plan to go next year, I definitely recommend showing up on time and parking in a central location to get the most out of your experience. (my feet were SCREAMING by the end of the night after all the walking I did)

Thanks to Bollare, Funkshion, Planet Fashion TV and all other hosts who extended opportunities to attend these shows as press. Until next time, xo.
